FAQ’s

Q: how do i find out if my dog will be a good fit?

A: We are a good fit for many dogs, but not ALL dogs. Please read through the information on our website. We will be happy to discuss with you after you fill out all the contact forms. If you wish to move forward, we will schedule a meet & greet where we will come to you for a visit so that we can evaluate your dog's compatibility with our services.

Q: How much time does my dog spend outside?

A: Boarding and daycare dogs go in and out many times throughout the day. To a certain extent, we let the dogs choose how much time they would like to spend outdoors. Dogs that are enjoying the outdoors are usually allowed to stay outside. Weather plays a role in how much time dogs spend outdoors. We do limit time outdoors in extreme temperatures, but we will go out frequently throughout the day.

*Please be advised that dogs will get dirty from time to time.  We do our best to ensure that a dog does not go home excessively muddy and wet, but sometimes this is not possible depending on the dog and the day.

Q: what do i need to pack for my dog’s stay?

A:  We don’t require much for dogs that are staying with us. We just need the same food that they eat at your home. We ask that the food be portioned out in single servings per meal with your dogs name on it, and have enough extra packed in case of delays. You may send treats but please understand that it will be shared among all the pups. Please do not pack/send anything that you want returned to you. We have plenty of toys here that the dogs can share.

Q: Where do the dogs sleep?

A:  There is a selection of dog beds that the dog’s can choose to claim as their own for their stay. If the dog is crate trained, we have them available for use.

Q: Will we receive updates during our dog’s stay?

A:  We do try to provide our parent’s with at least a photo per day. Please understand that we do take time to play and supervise the dogs and we can’t do those with a phone or camera attached to our hand.
